May. 16th, 2013 04:11 pmJust a few more days.
I know this has been a rough year for everyone, but we’ve been working really hard. I think we worked harder than we would have in a normal year, because it was tougher to learn what we had to, so we made sure we learned it. Because it’s when things get really hard that people find out what they’re made of. And we kept trying learn in spite of everything, so I guess that means we’re made out of pretty good stuff. At least that’s what I think.
And everyone will have a fair chance to show what they can do, and that’s a good thing.
Anyways. Best of luck to everybody.
I was thinking we could have one last meeting of the Defence revision group, seeing as we haven’t met the last couple of weeks. Anyone want to get together on Saturday at 4, in the usual classroom?

Re: Private Message to Professor Siz
Date: 2013-05-16 08:47 pm (UTC)What she told me is that she can officially neither confirm nor deny any specific precautions, but that she has passed on the warning of possible tampering to the head of the office (that's Madam Parthenope York, you may see her around) and to the examiners in the strongest possible terms. And that they need to be aware of not only the usual enhancement attempts they expect, but any unusual behaviour or unexpected poor performance.
Unofficially, the relevant sentence from her is "Not while I have anything to do with examinations, thank you." But she can't be everywhere, so she made sure to tell me that if any of you have any concerns at all, to report it to one of the examiners immediately, and if that's not satisfactory, you can ask to escalate it to Madam York's attention.
