We've all been sent home.

No-one else was taken into custody right away, which is a good sign, I guess.

The galleon holders know to tell us if they get in any sort of trouble.

Raz's funeral is tomorrow. The one for family, I mean. Ced had the idea that I should approach Dolohov and say that we'd like him to help us to do a private remembrance for Raz. The group he was working with on defence training, I mean. To show how we're shifting our support to him now.

What do you lot think?

I think that if we do it as a group, most of us are already on pretty good terms with him, and we'd have to be careful, but we were already being careful with Raz, so I think we'd be okay. But if you don't think it'd be a good idea, we won't.

Justin, I know you work pretty closely with him. How'd he take it?

I'm in if the rest of you are. Obviously, there's what we stand to learn, and a chance to lull him into thinking we're all with him, but for me, well, it might help a bit with the Aurors. At least, it couldn't hurt with Crouch. Not that I've had much to do with him yet, but you never know.

Siz's going to be getting a cottage somewhere. The Guild has some? Anyways. She can't go back to Spence yet, but she said I could come over whenever. So that's nice.

And maybe in the next few days I could take Hydra out and while we're out we could stop by or something. To do whatever. Play cards. Hang out.

If that'd be okay.

The horcrux business was really insane, by the way.

Pansy was mental really scary until we could talk her down, and then Dumbledore was all, 'Oh, there's another one,' and we were talking about the diary, and Ginny's weird tiara thing, and how they were kind of like the locket, so what if they were horcruxes too, and if we've found four, and three just because we happened to stumble across them, how many of the bloody things are there?

Mrs L said we could kill him temporarily and still have it be useful, but I mean, really. He could have like this whole field full of horcrux rocks or something. He's killed enough people.

I should think he would be flattered and pleased, what - both that you are confiding in him and that you choose to remember Professor Lestrange. I know that despite his adherence to the ideals of the Protectorate, he does consider himself religious. We've talked about church, in the past.

So he might wonder if you are all as sincere about that as he would wish you to be, if you follow me. He would take that sort of request well seriously, as a solemn ceremony.

Oh, yes, of course it would be. I say, old man, I'm sorry, I never meant any disrespect, what. I know you cared about him, and he was well loyal to you.

I think perhaps it might be better to let everyone make his own decision, though, about whether they wish to honour the Professor's memory in that way.

Well, I mean, that's why I was checking. And if it makes people uncomfortable, that's fine. We can do something else.

So. We go to him as a group, and not make it about a ceremony, but make it about training or something?

It would be for me as well. I liked Raz. He was a good teacher and seemed to treat everyone fairly at school.

He'd know we don't share all of his family's beliefs but that we're asking one friend to help us remember another in the way that will be very meaningful for him.
