I was thinking about having a galleon meeting this week to talk about some stuff.

First, it's coming up on a year since Sophie. I thought we could talk about safety. How to use the galleons in an emergency, that sort of thing. Because the new people don't know. And it's important to remind the old people that even though Umbridge is gone, we've got to be prepared in case Crouch tries something like that again.

Maybe we could talk about the challenge too, and see if we could get the galleon people to help us with it, but that might be tricky. Because we might have to talk about why it's important, and maybe they'll have questions about who we want to help, and might not want to get in the way. What should we say?

If you're going to talk about the candidates, them them who to sabotage rather than who to help. Tell them who the people are who we really want to keep OFF the Council, who we think really want to get on.

I don't know how hard we should try with Patil, honestly. She's not cut out for it and will be utterly miserable, which serves her right. She'd be more of a threat to Draco than some (because she'll dance to Sandoval's tune, and Sandoval dances to Bellatrix Lestrange's), but quite a bit less than others, and she's not a Slytherin or a child of a Councilwizard so she's already a bit of an underdog in the contest, unlike Teddy.

I think if we're enlisting everyone with a galleon we should have them focus on sabotaging just a couple of people we really DO NOT want on the Council, at least for now. The people who will be the greatest threat. So, Teddy. Finnigan. Maybe Vince and Greg although I would expect Draco could manage them.

I don't know, maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way?

As far as people to help, I suppose you could tell them to help Draco and Hydra because they're going to 'try to change things form the inside,' remember that line from 'Pure Power'? I suppose you didn't actually read that one. I mean, in the book it was actually more or less bollocks, but it sounds plausible, don't you think?

McLaggen and Teddy aren't particularly well-liked, and I think people would trust your motives if you told them Finnegan shouldn't make it onto the council.

I mean to say, they might not understand entirely why, but I think they'd think there was good reason for your asking them to help.

They'd trust you, Harry.

Don't worry about it, Harry. We're all keeping an eye on her.

You just be sure to let us know if there's anything specific we can do.

And I think your idea about talking about Sophie is a good one.
