It didn't make any difference whether I put my name in or not.

Father is pacing back and forth, I think he's really angry. But he's not angry at me, he's angry because it picked Diggory too. I don't think it was supposed to do that. Choose two of us.

and that one French professor, he's really angry. Like almost as angry as Father. He's speaking in French really fast. And shaking his head.

Diggory offered to step down but I told him no. The Cup picked him. Everyone saw it. And someone said something about it not being legal. His stepping down, I mean. Because it's like a contract. So that means I can't step down either. Not like Father would let me.

It is just daft, isn't it, and worst of all -- I mean, you know it might be bad for him and his family and everything, he might be in trouble, even though everyone knows that's can't be his fault.

If he gets in trouble, serious trouble, I'll just refuse to do any of the Championship. Or I could tell the Daily Prophet it was rigged for me. And that I know it for a fact.

Which would get us in trouble instead.

And would probably still get him in trouble too.

I hope he doesn't.

But it might be hard to know if he has.
