I hope that you can read this message, and that you’ll be able to answer it as well.

When I first learned of what happened, I didn’t know how to begin to reconcile what I knew about you with the things you were accused of doing. The Draco that I know is loyal, trustworthy, and a true citizen of the Protectorate. He is someone I have spent nearly every day of my life with. He is my brother, my best friend, and my right hand. He loves his family and his country, and would give his life to serve his Lord. I don’t know exactly what happened, Draco, and none of us will know for sure until you are able to tell your side of things, but I know you, and I know that you could not have done this of your own free will.

Our enemies try as hard as they can to twist the truth, corrupt what is pure and right, and to make us afraid. They want to tear down the Protectorate and everything that it stands for, and are willing to destroy you in order to do it. But the Draco that I know would not allow himself to be used like some sort of pawn. And if you truly believed what they did, Draco, believed it enough to abandon everything you had ever known, you wouldn’t stay quiet about it.

They’re a bunch of bloody cowards. I know they haven’t broken you, because they’re too afraid to let you talk for yourself. I don’t care what lies they’ve told you, it is never too late to make this right. Hold on to what you know to be true. Come home. No matter what the future holds, we will face it together.

Are they telling you to say anything specific about me? I mean, this reads really well for defending Draco but it doesn't mention me at all, which is just fine, by the way, but it sort of begs the question that if it's not Draco's fault and this is all a pack of lies, then I had to have played some part in spiriting him away, right? Are they pressuring you to tell them anything more about what I might or might not have been able to do at Hogwarts?

The best I can figure, they're a lot more focused on Mr Snape, and think that he used you to get to Draco.

They asked a lot about you and Milland. They also asked whether you'd tried to seduce me, and whether I knew what you were doing with Draco, and that sort of thing, but I think they'd rather think you were part of Mr Snape's plan than actually doing stuff on your own.

It is sort of not good that they're not letting me leave Buckingham, but Hydra said she'll find out what she can.

I'm managing a bit better. Poppy says I'm improving even if it doesn't feel like it. More walks. More reading. Not as much of either as I'd like yet. People checking on me. A couple of complicated conversations, but they've mostly gone okay.
