Someone with a galleon wants to know what happened. They're asking me, specifically.

I want to tell them that MLE cruciated Neville until his mind broke. And that he didn't deserve it, and no one does.

I think it would be better not to tell them it was Hydra. And if it gets out anyway, to tell them this is a lie told by MLE. Because trying to explain why Hydra did it -- unless we're just going to bring them all into the Order. And I'm not sure they're ready.

Hydra, what do you think?

They also want to know if Evelyn still has her galleon. I don't think we can tell them she does. Not unless we're ready for them to really know that yeah, we're in with the Longbottoms (and so are they, whether they realise it or not).

Yeah. I don't know what to say either. Ed's really broken up about it, and I want to just tell him and I know I can't.

I want to feel that they (and we) are safer not knowing, but the truth is they probably already know enough to get them in pretty serious trouble with MLE. If Bellatrix Lestrange got glimpses of say, the reading sessions, from their minds, there's no way she'd dismiss it as just kid stuff. Dolohov might, but we're not at school right now.

I think the first bit works. You're right not to say it was Hydra. And yeah, the part about Ev is tricky.

You might say, 'I don't know if she still has her galleon, but if she does, Ev, I'm sorry for what's happened' or something.

You've said before that what happened to Draco was something people could come ask you about if they really wanted to know, because it was more than what people had signed on for. I think if you say, 'There are some things we can't talk about,' or 'You'd need to ask,' that's another thing.

A third thing is Ev could reply, and say that she has it, and can't answer questions for everyone's safety, but she's still alive, and save you the trouble.

I think that ought to be okay? I mean, we told everyone that Sarah was safe. I think it's fine if they know you are, too.
