I was wondering

I wanted to know if Granger could come along while we're on our trip.

She could help out. I mean, it wouldn't be just for me. I wouldn't make her do my job or anything. And I know it's not the usual thing.

I'd just rather she wasn't at Buckingham when I'm not there.

That... I don't think we could this trip. (And you'll be home tomorrow afternoon anyway, so there's not much time to arrange it.)

But for the CCF weeks, possibly. If you're willing for her to do general work - the kitchens, cleaning the public spaces, that kind of thing. It'd be unfair if she helped you personally, really.

Give me a few to see if I can get in touch with people.

All right. Heard back from the staff where we're staying. They'd actually welcome another pair of hands, it turns out. Kitchen work (food preparation, nothing complicated), getting things out quickly for meals, cleaning up after, and then some general cleaning of public spaces.

We're hoping you'll be outside much of the time, but if the weather's bad, they've got a couple of rooms we'll use for training, and those will need to be kept tidy.

They can arrange a bed in their muggleborn women's space, as well. (They have rather a large staff, but only a few girls and women, because much of the upkeep work is outside.) Less freedom of movement than she usually has at Hogwarts, but what I've seen suggests they treat their muggleborns well enough.

If that's agreeable, I'll confirm with them.
