They were busy when we left, and what if they hadn't seen a message even if we'd sent one?

They'd have all fought, and they'd've all used worse spells on each other. And Crouch and Dolohov would've called in MLE, who were all just right across the building. It would've taken no time. And then the Longbottoms, and Mr Shacklebolt, and Mr Lupin, and Sirius Black, and Miss Tonks, and whoever all'd come, they'd all've been dead or arrested or on the run. And Arista might've been dead.
